Sendai Rug Sample Review July 09 2025

Developing fresh Kush designs is an exciting and collaborative process. It's always a thrill to see how the graphics, materials, construction, and colors come together in a finished sample. Small details can add up to making a substantial difference in the final rug.

Here, the team is reviewing three different versions of our Sendai Enoki design. Besides the obvious variation in color, different blends of wool were used to weave each 2'x2' sample. We wanted to create a clear design, contrasted with more movement in the background field.
